Hi fellas!
Since I have to do my blog for english class, today I’m going to talk
about my favorite piece of technology (I LOVE to write as if I have a really
big audience, makes me feel cool).
Definitely my favorite piece of technology is my iPhone, which is an Apple
branded phone. I got my first cell phone in 2005, it was brand Nokia and has a
classic game, the “Snake”, I was 11 years old so it was really cool because in
those days not all of my friends had one, I mean, it’s crazy how the times
change from those days to now, where I’ve seen lot of little kids with cellphones,
I have even seen some of my little brother classmates (who are 9 years old
kids!) with cellphones even more
expensive than the one I have, it’s nuts. Anyway, I have my current cellphone
since 2014 and it works perfectly so I’m not planning to change it yet, because
buying a new one means “spend LOT of money in only one thing” and probably I
would rather expend all that money traveling than in a cellphone hahahaha.
I use my phone A LOT, I mean I couldn’t even count the times in a day
that I use it, and it’s weird because sometimes I even fell anxious about it,
like when I have to meet with someone or if I have to go somewhere and I don’t
know how to get there and my internet connection doesn’t work, I could lose my
mind! But the truth is, that I LOVE to be disconnected of social media, in
places with no internet connection only with the nature. I use it to do almost
everything, because it replaces a computer in lot of ways, I use it to play
little games, to read small things (because I’m a book-lover), to get in social
media, and even to watch Netflix if I have the time and the connection hahaha.
Life without my phone would be tough, I mean the whole world works under
the assumption that you own one and that it has an internet connection.
